How to produce high quality products with lower production cost is always the most concern for the enterprises.During these years,although some scholars have proposed many methods,there are large improving spaces for these methods to be applied in enterprises and it is worth to be studied further.The process of global economic integration is accelerating;the market competition is increasing severely and the consumer demand for product diversification is constantly enhancing.In addition to,the production process is continually progressing and the production cycle is reducing.With these following changes,companies only constantly launch new products in a very short development time,can greatly reduce the production cost and gain a foothold in the markets of China.The Taguchi method is a kind of low cost and high efficiency of the quality engineering method,this method can shorten development time,decrease the use of resources,thereby the cost of design and development can be reduced,its purpose is to make the products manufactured with high quality,low cost,and high speed.This paper regarded one automobile company as the research object,in this paper the Taguchi method and finite element analysis were combined to optimize the process parameters,and the quality of the car roofs was improved as well.First of all,the Taguchi method and the related theory of finite element analysis were introduced;secondly,according to the production experience and accumulated data,the process parameters that influence the car roofs’ quality were determined,such as the temperature of glue,the pressure of squeezing glue,the welding time and the welding pre-welding pressure;thirdly,the 3D model of the car roof was established with CATIA software and the 3D model was imported into ANSYS software for simulation to determine another process parameter,the inserted and extracted index,which affects the quality of hemming process;then,multi factor orthogonal test was implemented with Taguchi method of parameter design theory and Minitab software;finally,according to the experimental data,the signal-to-noise ratio analysis and variance analysis were carried out to determine the optimal combination of parameters at different levels in the process procedure of car roofs,what’s more,the experiment result was predicted by Minitab software,after compared the optimal combination with the original combination,the method used in this paper was feasible.Methods and ideas of this paper research not only have practical guidance on the quality optimization improvement of the company,but also can provide a theoretical basis and application guide for the related industries. |
