Design Strategy Of Leisure Agriculture Park From The Perspective Of Horticultural Therapy

With the development of modern life,people pay more and more attention to the healthy and comfortable outdoor activities.The traditional static recuperation model has been hit as modern dynamic agricultural leisure and healthy travel model becomes more and more popular.Leisure agricultural park,as a combination of agriculture and tourism,is the third natural space for people to enjoy and experience the beauty of life,which provides a harmonious symbiotic space for human beings and nature.Horticultural Therapy can improve the cognitive,physical and mental state of the body and provide active values to people by means of horticultural operations and sensual activities related to plants,which developes well because it’s a kind of non-pharmacological treatment.In this paper,literature research,field investigation,semi-structured interviews,questionnaires and Likert scale analysis method were used to investigate the Weilai Rural Leisure Agricultural Park and the Qingqing Family Farm.Through field investigation,we found that there were some shortages when it comes to the plant landscape perception in these two areas,especially auditory plants and aromatic plants were rarely used.Plant landscape is better in the Weilai Rural Leisure Agricultural Park,where horticultural activities are mainly based on sightseeing-picking and modern indoor agricultural facilities.However,its outdoor activities are bad,which don’t show the local traditional culture well.The Qingqing Family Farm scenery is relatively poor,mainly based on indoor modern agricultural facilities and cultivated outdoor crops,the plant landscape is relatively simple,but the kinds of activities are relatively rich.In the Qingqing Family Farm,gardening operations mainly include picking,planting and tasting and outdoor activities which mainly include small games and showing farming culture.The Likert scale analysis was used to investigate the use of leisure agriculture park.Our results showed that higher satisfaction of tourists to the diversity of the future agricultural facilities,the orientation of the spatial layout,the diversity of plant species,the sense of the plant landscape and the meditative nature of the quiet space,higher expectations of the comfort of the park environment,the natural environment of the park,the experience of the traditional culture,the fine environment of the park,and the leisure environment of the park on the Weilai Rural Leisure Agricultural Park;on the Qingqing Family Farm high sense of satisfaction of tourists to condition adequacy,space layout orientation,agricultural facilities,park in natural environment and plant landscape,waterscape of sensory area the spatial distribution of the rationality,the excellent environment of the park,plant species diversity and spatial diversity function of higher expectations.Horticultural Therapy cognitive survey is divided into two parts,including inside parts and outside parts.The main content of the survey in the inside parts is to investigate the participation of tourists and the orientation of the environment.Tourists perception of the characteristics of the park are similiar,the main purpose of the visitors is to feel nature and sightseeing-packing,the sightseeing area is mainly embodied in plants and water.And their demands for the region are mainly influenced by the five sensory areas,gardening exhibition area,gardening operation area and meditation leisure area.And their demands in space which is open,semi-open,semi-closed or closed space are similar.Outside the park,we mainly do a survey on the concern of health of the public and their expectations.The public citizens pay more attention to the park’s beauty,participation,and characteristics.And the activities they need mainly reflected in six aspects,the agricultural experience,picking,culture,gardening exhibition,gardening and leisure meditation.Based on the theory of Horticultural Therapy,this paper puts forward the conceptual design planning of Qingqing Family Farm in Tai’an City,as well as the design concept and principle of design and functional zoning of the park.Furthermore,we put forward the application of Horticultural Therapy theory of leisure agriculture park,which is mainly from the macro and micro aspects of the design guidance.It will explain the macro aspect from four aspects,the sensory garden area,gardening display area,gardening operation area and leisure and meditation area.In micro aspect,it will dipict mainly from three aspects the plant,facilities,and space.Through this study,it will provide some basic reference for the development of leisure agriculture park in future.
