As the modern construction industry develops well and the demands of building energy efficiency increase,the composite panel has been applied more and more widely because there are the advantage of easy construction and good thermal insulation.At present,there has much research about bearing capacity of composite panels at home and abroad,but less in panels with openings.These openings weaken the bearing capacity of composite panels obviously.In this paper,it is to study the properties of bearing capacity of composite panel and composite roof panel with openings while the the application of United States Guam prefabricated hotel project is as the background.To solve the problem that the bearing capacity of composite panels with openings is insufficient,the article puts forward a new type of composite panel,exactly,with concrete frame.It sets concrete columns and beams forming "frame" in the panel to improve the flexural and compressive bearing capacity.There are 5 pieces of full scale panels with openings under the four-point bending test and the eccentric compression test respectively to study failure mode and bearing capacity behavior.There are 3 pieces of full scale roof panels without openings under the uniform loading bending test to study bearing capacity behavior.The test results show that,the flexural bearing capacity of composite panels meets the demand of wind load in Guam and the bending stiffness is quite well.Under four-point bending load and eccentric compressive load,it can achieve full combination and deformation coordination on both sides of the concrete,and the deformation of concrete section complies with the plane section assumption.The composite panels under four-point bending load show ductile failure.Flexural bearing capacity of composite panels is calculated by Chinese and American concrete code respectively and the calculated results agree well with the test results.The composite roof panels under the action of uniformly distributed bending load show the deformation coordination on both sides of the concrete,good flexural performance,higher flexural rigidity and ductile failure in the end.In this paper,it simulates the flexural performance of composite panels by finite element analysis software called abaqus and compares the simulation results with the test results.The comparison results show that the abaqus can simulate the flexural performance of the composite panels well such as the deflection in the elastic stage and the strain of concrete,but it cannot accurately simulate the deflection in elastic-plastic stage.
