Differential is one of the most important parts of the automobile transmission system.The main function is that when the driving wheel of the automobile has different rolling radius,it can rotate at different speeds.Based on a differential manufacturing enterprise in Shandong province and combined with the problems existing in the process of differential movement of the enterprise at the present stage,this paper takes a certain type of automobile differential as the research object,and designs it,parametric modeling,and dynamic simulation analysis as well as structure optimization.Firstly,the parameter model of the differential coniflex gear is built,and the parameters of the planet gear and the half axle gear are determined according to the basic parameters of the car.In order to solve the problem that the strength of the differential case is insufficient and the vibration noise of the differential is large,the case and the gear gasket of the differential are designed.Through the secondary development technology of SolidWorks software,the parametric modeling system of the differential is constructed,and the parametric modeling of the parts of the differential is completed by the system.We can quickly complete the three-dimensional model of the parts,and the parts are assembled into a three-dimensional model of the differential,which improves the design efficiency.Based on ADAMS software,the motion simulation of the differential assembly is carried out under straight and turning conditions to verify the rationality of the model and the correlation theory of the differential.At the same time,the influence of the stiffness of the planetary gear gasket on the vibration of the differential output shaft is investigated,,and the range of the stiffness of the planetary gear washer is obtained when the vibration of the differential output shaft is the smallest.ANSYS software is used to analyze the contact stress and the bending stress of the planetary gear and the half axle gear of the differential.The modal analysis is carried out on the planetary gear and the half axle gear meshing model,the differential case model and the differential assembly model,and the first six natural frequencies and modes are analyzed.The static analysis is carried out for the differential case under two working conditions of the straight line and the 1.8 times static torsion.The fatigue strength of the shell of two kinds of QT450-10 and QT600-3 are analyzed,and the safety factors of the shell of two kinds of materials are analyzed.According to the results of the static analysis and fatigue strength analysis of the shell,the topological optimization of structural optimization method is adopted to carry out the lightweight design of the shell,so as to achieve the purpose of weight reduction.
