In urban rail transit system,relay protection equipment plays an important role in the operation of power supply system.Due to the serious consequences of the failure of subway power supply system,subway operators should have the ability to deal with all kinds of trouble.According to the existing problems of the technical training of power supply system,this thesis makes a research on the DC traction power supply system protection simulation and develops a protection simulation software,which is of guiding significance for the operation of subway operators.This thesis makes a brief analysis of DC traction power supply system,and the subway mixed substation lighting power supply system and DC traction power supply system simulation model is established using PSCAD/EMTDC electromagnetic transient simulation program.Based on the model,according to the common fault types of subway substation operation,the fault simulation model is established and make fault simulation to provide data support for the development of Metro DC traction power supply system protection simulation software.According to the actual relay protection configuration,the protection function is established which calculates the value of each channel according to the input fault simulation data,and make accurate judgment of the export of the protective action.By comparing the difference of current characteristics between remote short-circuit fault and the starting transient process of subway line locomotive,the setting principle of current rising rate and increment protection in the actual protection configuration is analyzed and improved,finally verify the feasibility of calculation.Based on MFC framework,using VC++ object oriented design method the DC traction power supply system of visual interactive interface protection simulation software is developed,and using the data made by fault simulation in DC traction power supply system to vertify the accuration of the protection simulation software.The results show that the power supply system simulation program can accurately determine the protection action export,and can reflect the protection action with the corresponding information,meets the requirement of software development.
