High-speed railway tunnel construction in our country is booming, the new "much starker choices-and graver consequences-in planning is to regard it as the focus of the national investment, and railway construction has began to shift to the Midwest. In view of the various complex geological environment and social environment ofcentral and western regions, especially the karst water rich soft rock shallow buried,it's hard to avoid different sorts of problem, with the blasting vibration problems becoming a problem to be solved. This paper, based on the rich water karst-Yakou village tunnel of Shanghai-Kunming Passenger dedicated line, analysised the application of milling-blasting technology in tunnel construction under shallow buried houses and river section, through field investigation?theoretical analysis?field monitoring and numerical simulation methods. The main working achiebements are as follows:(1)Through the theoretical analysis of rock blasting mechanism, analyzed the damping superiority of milling-blasting method.Combined with the site specific conditions, analyzed the milling parameters, milling dig scheme design, concrete construction efficiency, economy and applicability.(2)Through the field test and blasting vibration monitoring, demonstrated the feasibility of milling-blasting method used in tunnel damping construction under shallow buried houses.(3)By analyzing the relevant theories of blasting vibration and the means of finite element software numerical simulation, demonstrated the shock absorption advantage ofmilling-blasting method compared to the conventional drilling-blasting method.
