The four-rotor aircraft is the most common aircraft in recent years.Compared with other aircrafts,the four-rotor aircraft not only can take-off and land vertically,but also smaller in volume,simpler in structure and easier to control.It is widely used in military and civil fields because it can complete various tasks such as aerial photography.In this paper,the development of the four-rotor aircraft was introduced.Based on analysis of its development prospect and main research directions,the main contents and significance of this paper are presented.,The flight control method of '+' and 'X' four-rotor aircraft was introduced respectively from the flight principle,then the dynamic model and kinematic model of the four-rotor vehicle is established based on its flight principle.In order to improve the four-rotor aircraft flight time and range,a new attitude control method for the four-wing aircraft with tilting structure is presented,and further modeling and simulation are carried out to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method.The structure of the tilting four-rotor aircraft is designed.The components of the tilting four-wing aircraft are designed in detail using CATIA three-dimensional drawing software,including the frame,tilting mechanism and wings.In order to further improve the performance of the four-rotor aircraft,the main power unit rotor should be designed and analyzed.A rapid engineering design method of rotor based on standard strip analysis was proposed,and experimental results show that the design method can lead to a practical engineering design.Aiming at getting the flight performance of the four-rotor aircraft,the mathematical model of its performance was deduced.Then various performance were analyzed through an example,and the influence of battery quality on hover time and maximum range which can provide reference for further design was analyzed.
