With the rapidly development of urbanization of China,population pressure increased,city land expand rapidly.However,in the rapidly construction process,underestimating the city color value,ignoring the city color planning,has led to convergent city state and city color chaos.In recent years,People’s requirements on the quality of the living environment and urban construction are getting higher and higher,urban color gradually aroused widespread concern.Although the city color planning has been studied for more than 10 years in China,but the metro space color chaos still exist.This paper taking Binhu New District of Hefei as an example to find the current city color situation of the new city,then put forward some suggestions for the improvement of the urban color situation.First of all,the paper makes a statistical analysis of the color satisfaction and color perception information of Binhu New District in Hefei,through the investigation and research.Color data samples were obtained by field investigation.Then,select the representative images to make abstract translation,to study the characteristics and evaluation of urban color,and to analyze the problems of urban color.Use Mussel color system as reference,distill color data for data analysis.Get the color range of sky,water,road and greening and the distribution curve of several types of city color.Then analysis the distribution of city color hue,lightness and purity,in the form of quantitative analysis to find the key problems of city color chaos.Finally,from the point,principle,methods of color control,put forward some suggestions on the improvement of urban color for specific scenes.
