| Traditional villages are the epitome of social development in certain historical periods and the comprehensive carrier of social material culture and spiritual culture.With the rapid development of urbanization in China,traditional villages are faced with a series of serious problems such as the disappearance of regional characteristics.As one of the typical traditional villages in Huizhou,Chengkan is a reflection of the unique historical scenes and regional features of Huizhou in the Ming and Qing dynasties.Existing 140 ancient dwellings in Ming and Qing dynasties,“Luo Dongshu Temple” and “Chengkan Ancient Architectural Complex” two national cultural relics protection units,Chengkan is known as a gems of ancient dwelling,and an important historical and cultural heritage of our country.From the perspective of spatial cognition,this paper takes street space as the research object,which is the most obvious reflection of the traditional features of the traditional village,and correlates the morphological characteristics of street space with people’s subjective perception of feelings to explore the spatial morphology of Chengkan,and people’s spatial characteristics and cognitive mechanisms in complex environment.Firstly,based on the historical materials and investigation,the study analyzes generating environment of Chengkan and the composing elements of street space,which lays the foundation for the following study.Secondly,it uses the method of behavior observation to grasp the overall use of street space,and analyzes the behavior of the villagers and tourists in main space,to explore the relationship between physical environment and behavior.Then,spatial cognition of street space is carried out by means of questionnaire,and study object is divided into villagers and tourists,to analyze the differences in spatial cognition of different spatial subjects.Finally,the study takes Depthmap and network density to analyze the spatial morphology of Chengkan,and explores the internal order of the complex spatial pattern on the basis of visualization.It is hoped that the research results will help to improve the current situation of traditional villages and street space,provide a basis for the protection of traditional villages and the design of contemporary cities and human settlements. |
