Research On Schedule Plan And Control In The Emergency Diesel Generating Sets Project Of The Baosteel Port

Project Schedule Management refers to time management during a project’s milestones and activities,with intended start and finish date.During the time of the project,a reasonable and economical schedule plan is needed.It is very important to check the progress of the project is right on schedule.The schedule must be constantly updated during the life of the project,taking consideration of all works ahead of or behind schedule.The purpose is to ensure that the project can be accomplished within the set time period.(1)In this paper,the author uses the project of new emergency diesel generator unit in Baosteel Majishan Port as an example,to demonstrate how project schedule management method can be applied in engineer construction projects,also it provided advanced scientific management and all effective means for ensuring the progress of this project was developed according to the time-plan.Firstly,analysis of the characteristics of the project and the relationships between different departments secures the organization’s ability to plan and control over the schedule of the project.(2)it detailed the preparation process of the schedule and the main contents and characteristics of the control progress of the project,and optimizing network planning of projects by analyzing all levels of the schedules and making full use of network planning technique.(3)it detailed how to effectively provide a guarantee for progress control with the case of project implementation,through a variety of communication.Dynamic monitoring and adjustment,the project schedule can meet the requirements.(4)it detailed the characteristics of the project,summarized the important project management knowledge in the project application,and looked the future.
