Distribution network as a power supply chain to the last part of the electric power customers, bear directly to electricity customers with high quality electric and services in an important function, its performance directly affects the power customer electricity experience and based on the produced on the entire power system direct evaluation. Therefore, from the enterprise for customers to provide high-quality products and services, and distribution sectors is the key link between the power system and power customers, a direct impact on the electric power customers of power supply enterprise products and services of the final evaluation. Distribution automation system is an automatic system for monitoring and controlling the operation of power distribution network. It mainly consists of the main station, power distribution terminal, electronic station (optional) and communication channel. The main station is the core of the distribution automation system, and it has the characteristics of reliability, availability, expansibility and security.The distribution network automation system research as the background, in Lishui current urban power grid status and combined with the construction of city power grid planning, Liandu area selected as programme implementation object and focuses on distribution automation master station layer based design and implementation of the application, to achieve full coverage of beautiful water city core area of distribution line automation, distribution automation coverage rate reached 45%. Overall framework of distribution automation master station system based on IEC 61968 information exchange bus, data exchange between main system design, and the syntax and semantics of conforming to CIM, interactive information bus architecture based on SOA, distribution automation master station system will meet integrated regulation and control of the technical requirements. After the completion of the distribution automation master station system is composed of a hardware layer, operating system layer, support platform layer and application layer of a total of four levels, distribution station hardware will use the standard of general equipment, with good openness and substitutability, comply with the safety, the reliability principle and in servers, switches and other critical nodes by redundant configuration. Based on the conclusion of the operation practice and the characteristics of Lishui power grid, the shortcomings of the pilot distribution network automation system of Lishui distribution network and the direction of the improvement of the distribution automation system in the future are presented.
