The following thesis touches upon the therapeutic gardens issue in China and Poland, and people's attitude to the healing benefits of greenery on humans; in these both countries-nowadays and in the past. There are few chosen examples of therapeutic gardens in this elaboration, collected during the two year Chinese-Polish studies, in places like Changsha, Shanghai, Beijing or Wroclaw. All the observations and analysis of the presented gardens examples, become very helpful to make the comparison of the different ways of green land development, the evaluation of their usefulness for people and their real healing influence effect.Beyond the presented therapeutic spaces, there are references to the cultural and historical thread of 'natural therapies' in this elaboration, which had left the significant trail in the Chinese history, as well as in many countries in Europe. The presented materials and analysis served for the thesis summary, which is the set of the basic guidelines in creating the healing green spaces. The final, closing part of thefollowing work, is the model project of the therapeutic garden, with its practical usage in one of the yard of the special care centre named "Ostoja", in Wroclaw. The model therapeutic garden project was created according to Chinese and Polish design rules in creating the healing benefits spaces. This elaboration with all the collected materials, proves the marvel of the green spaces positive benefits on humans, and shows varied methods of natural therapies in the context of two, different cultures.
