Application Study On Construction Cost Management Based On BIM

Construction cost management is one of the three major goals in project management,which is directly related to enterprise's profit.in recent years construction contractor put forward more accurate and precise requirement in cost management.contractor not only needs to strengthen internal management level for endogenous demand,but also to deal with external pressure of market competition,the traditional cost management means is hard to deal with complicated situations.Because of the large dimension engineering projects cost management is just focused on basic daily affairs and half-heartedly for process control and details,cost deviation is often difficult to achieve accurate position in time,the cost rectification measures belong to afterwards management,the effect of management is in low level.Currently BIM technology has been widely used in the field of construction project and manifests bigger application value,this paper tries to analyze the point conbined the traditional cost management method and BIM technology,which try to have a research on the application method,train of thought and practice in BIM technology.With reading vast amount of papers,this paper analyze the traditional construction cost management problems and the feasibility and application value in construction cost management with the support of BIM,it tries to find a availble BIM application in the cost management.First,build information model;Second,we need to associate cost plan and schedule,who core is the collection components or building blocks,then the associated cost model is established in this paper.Final,with data support of the 5d cost model based on BIM we can complete the cost control by using Earned value and comprehensive cost control from the dimension of time,space,elements,which gets application in engineering practice case to examine the effects of cost control,then we summarize the practical process of advantages and disadvantages,improvement and deficiency in BIM technology,and provide analysis for concrete application practice in the future.
