With the rapid development of the automobile industry,people demand more and more on the quality of the car.The automobile corrosion damage is an important factor affecting the quality of the car,therefore,the various corrosion protection measures for cars are more and more important.The electrophoresis painted process is a organic coating film forming method,the electrophoretic painted film’s good or bad quality,directly determines the vehicle anti-corrosion performance.We select a passenger vehicle in Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile Co.,Ltd.and have a research for the corrosion resistance and body electrophoresis process in this paper.The main researches of this paper include the following aspects:(1)The automobile operational environment and corrosion status are analyzed at first,stating the necessary of the design for the automobile anti-corrosion performance and the major methods of the design for anti-corrosion,finally the reasons for the corrosion of the car are found in this paper.(2)studying the reaction mechanization of the electrophoresis painted process in the automobile anti-corrosion treatment process and some typical electrophoresis painted processes,then the major influence factors for the performance of the electrophoresis process are introduced,analyzing the performance assessment indexes and the drawback of the common electrophoretic painted films,then having a detailed research and analysis for the various drawback of the electrophoresis process,later formulating the solving measures,finally developing the relevant technical regulations and manageable requirement.(3)Through the use of simulation software VPS/EDC,VPS/Toolkit module having a modeling calculation and analysis for the Fengxing automobile,a new type of automobile.Simulating the process of electrophoresis coating in the current electrodeposition on the white body in paint tank.Predicting the result of the coating thickness at any position of the white body before the real batch production.The results indicate that the simulation analysis method is reliable,and it is able to get the date of the inner and outer surfaces’ films directly,and show the maximum and minimum thickness of the various parts’ films,more importantly,save a lot of time and cost.(4)Through anatomy,determination of film thickness,observation of the part to the electrophoretic paint not swimming having a comprehensive verification for the electrophoretic force of body,and analyzing the reasons of the part to the electrophoretic paint not swimming,which are the not ejectment air on account of the insufficient number of pores,the too small diameter of pores and the unreasonable location of pores and the shield effect on account of the too tiny gap between panel structure.Finally the body design further improvement direction is provided.
