High speed railway to people’s travel has brought convenience, fast and comfortable, but the noise caused by the surrounding residents has brought a serious impact. As the main sound source of railway noise, this paper studies the prediction and control of wheel-rail rolling noise.(1)Calculation of wheel-rail system input power is necessary to understand the admittance characteristics, this paper on the wheel of finite element modeling,considering the wheel rotation self vibration characteristics, using modal superposition method, admittance, and compare the modal superposition method compared to the accuracy of the classical modal method. The calculation of rail admittance rail as support in the continuous infinite beam on elastic foundation, rail as the three degree of freedom vibration system.(2)Based on the basic relationship between the wheel-rail interaction, the wheel-rail coupling vibration of the wheel and rail is studied, considering the characteristics of wheel-rail contact, the theoretical analytical formula of the wheel-rail interaction force power spectrum is derived.(3)In this paper, the prediction model of wheel-rail vertical coupling noise is established based on statistical energy method. The model can predict the radial and vertical rolling noise of the wheel. Based on this model, a variety of parameters affecting the rolling noise are studied.(4)Noise barrier is one of the effective measures for noise control. This paper studies the calculation method of acoustic noise barrier insertion loss, and presents the calculation model of sound absorption and noise reduction. And in view of the current sound absorption sound barrier only use average sound absorption coefficient as the evaluation of the overall performance of the problem, to explore the sound absorption coefficient of the sound absorption coefficient of the overall sound absorption and noise reduction.(5)In this paper, the noise reduction prediction model of railway sections with sound barrier is established by using the statistical energy method. The model can predict the radiation sound pressure and sound barrier noise attenuation. Based on this model, the influence of different position and height of sound barrier on the reduction of noise reduction is discussed. The noise reduction effect of sound barrier withdifferent sound absorption was evaluated by using the formula of attenuation and the statistical energy method.
