| Solar energy is a large amount of radiation,widely distributed and can be used for a long time clean renewable energy.Therefore,the solar power generation technology is studied and developed comprehensively.But the solar power generation appeared the low efficiency and the power generation instability and other issues,because of the weak solar energy,poor continuity,instability and other shortcomings,so a photovoltaic panel dual-axis tracking and monitoring system is designed to improve the solar energy utilization efficiency in this paper.The hardware system of the dual-axis tracking system includes single-chip microcomputer control module,stepper motor drive module,voltage and current acquisition module,wireless communication module,light detection module,encoder detection module and four-quadrant photoelectric sensor module.The lower computer software system includes reading and taking sensor data,motor drive and wireless communication.The monitoring system in upper computer is developed in C # language.Sunrise and sunset time are calculated in the host computer and the changes in the solar elevation angle and azimuth angle within the tracking interval are calculated.Furthermore,the lower computer can drive the stepping motor according to the changes,the function of tracking the sun is implemented.The upper computer and the lower computer are exchanging data based on the Modbus RTU protocol so as to realize the monitoring of the lower computer and the memory of the photovoltaic power data and the light intensity data in the database.Based on the principle of four-quadrant photoelectric sensor,the defects of light control tracking are analyzed and the way how to solve this problem is discussed.In this paper,the fixed installation mode and the tracked installation mode are designed respectively.Through the comparison of the experimental data,it shows that the solar panel can automatically track the sun in the system and the efficiency of the solar power generation can be improved.The system is mainly designed for the transmission mechanism of tracking devices using the gear meshing approach,Due to relatively the lower initial investment,the system is more suitable for the small or medium-sized photovoltaic power stations as well as the large-scale household photovoltaic power generation projects. |
