| Paper first on the present situation of the development of cable fault location system were introduced.Before measuring the cable fault artificial measurement using simple bridge method,Some of the intelligent cable fault detection instruments use system with the single chip processor as the core more.But less functional,complicated operation,and distance measurement is accurate to rely more heavily on their original experience.Poor intelligent automation,when the instrument is using a different problem outside interference and cable materials will identify and calculate the velocity of the reflected waveform cause problems,thereby affecting the accuracy of fault.In addition,the basic functions of cable fault location equipment,hardware affected by factors,from the factory beginning to be defined,it is difficult to change.How to carry out simple and safe operation,improve the accuracy of cable fault location,and thus reduce the ranging error is the purpose and focus of this paper.Compared various methods of cable fault location,the research adopts the most advanced three pulse method as the basic method of cable fault detection system.Through the platform virtual instrument(LabVIEW)of the computer design program with its corresponding hardware modules combine for users to achieve different measurement functions provide system support.The user can through the user interface of the instrument panel to operate the system,the object to be measured to achieve the collection,transmission,storage,processing,display,and other functions.Selected wavelet analysis as the core algorithm of this system,by using LabVIEW and Matlab programming,realize the complementary advantages.The acquisition card to the cable fault signal through a virtual instrument platform after pretreatment into Matlab wavelet analysis and de-noising.Finally by extracting modulus maxima points to determine the signal singularity method realizes the cable fault point location..Finally,simulation and experimental results show that the specific,the system is stable,the work to achieve the collection and transmission of data waveform storage requirements,achieve cable fault location,error in the control range,more accurate. |
