Wave study is not only meaningful to the development of oceanography engineering but also the development of submarine equipment. The working on wave study is beyond count, including theory, experiment and numerical modeling. The theoretical work includes the study of linear wave theory and all kinds of ocean wave spectra and the like. The experimental work includes towing experiment, seakeeping experiment, manipulation experiment and various kinds of model experiment which is conduct in water tank. The numerical modeling can be regard as the supplement of the theoretical work and experimental work, which can verify the theory and proceed virtual numerical experiment. Such as the numerical wave-making experiment and the numerical wave-absorbing experiment.On the background of marine centrifuge, the study of theory and numerical modeling of wave characteristics will be conduct, under genvironments.(1) conduct an intensive and comprehensive investigation and study on wave study, including heoretical work, experimental work and numerical modeling, especially numerical modeling.(2) on the basis of investigation, the theoretical analysis direct at genvironments of flap wave making and piston wave-making.(3) under the guidance of theoretical analysis, the mathematical modeling and mesh generation can be finished with ANSYS/ICEM. The calculating work can be done with FLUENT. The numerical modeling can be done with the work above finished.After theoretical analysis, the conclusion of that amplitude will be decrease with g magnified is received. The conclusion has been verfied by numerical method.
