The HongGuang park is located in the west of xi 'an. It's an integrated open park with Qin culture background. The park first named EPangGong park. It's one of the key projects of municipal investment in building. It's also the one of the ten Welfares for citizen in xi'an. The project sites at QinHan culture zone in XiXian New District. The Zao He river and The XiHu railway go through the project. The first phase of the project was completed in 2015 and open to the public. It's the first large scale comprehensive park in the west of xi'an. The paper is accomplished by reading a large number of literatures, in-depth collections of the engineering construction information and field investigation of the HongGuang park. It focuses on discussing the park's design and engineering changes. Starting from the idea of design, it analyzes the cultural characteristics and the environmental reform. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)To estalish a comprehensive park and avoid resemblance,it must emphasizes on the local humanity culture and natural factors.(2)The HongGuang park construction achieves three aspects win-win of ecological,social and economic benefits through transforming the potentical culture resources into the productisty factors.(3) Emboding the relaxation,entertainment,scenery fuctions into one and especial the culture relaxtion being primary,the park enhances ZaoHe park scenery and makes another model of environment reconstruction trough a better ecological landscape.(4)The park emphasize the security function in way of seperating the nearby railway out of the park area.(5)The park construction follows the saving principle with the reuse of construction waste,save of costs,shortening the time.And it provides empirical conferences for other park construction.
