Research On Landscape Renewal Design Of Jiaxing Canal Park Based On Regional Cultural Characteristics

In today’s global integration,due to the frequent cultural exchanges between countries,the cultural integration between countries and regions has been promoted,and the phenomenon of cultural convergence has also been formed,making many countries lack of regional culture.As an important display window of urban regional culture,the landscape design of urban parks has gradually become homogenized.This cultural convergence leads the urban landscape planning and design to a unified design paradigm,which makes the urban landscape lack regional characteristics and loses the cultural heritage of the city.From a deeper dimension analysis,its essence is the lack of cultural confidence.On the other hand,urban parks are an important way and carrier for the expression of urban regional culture,a symbol of a city,a microcosm of urban regional culture,and a concentrated embodiment of urban history,culture and style.Therefore,integrating the urban regional culture into the urban park landscape,making it a high-quality urban park with distinctive features,reasonable spatial layout,complete functional facilities and profound cultural heritage,is the development trend of urban landscape design today.This paper analyzes and studies the application and expression of regional culture through the landscape renewal design of Jiaxing Canal Park,reasonably excavates and utilizes the regional cultural elements of Jiaxing Canal Park,integrates Jiaxing regional culture into the landscape of Canal Park,and further improves urban public space.,to highlight the regional cultural characteristics and heritage of Jiaxing,so as to avoid the large demolition and construction of the park landscape,and at the same time pay attention to the coordination of the urban ecological environment,realize the inheritance and development of the regional culture in the urban park landscape design,and then achieve the purpose of sustainable design.
