Urban mass transit has become the main way to solve the traffic congestion problem in major cities because of its large volume,safety,speediness,punctuality,and other strengths.The subway construction requires a lot of funds,especially in the construction costs.Construction costs account for the largest proportion,and the underground station cost even accounts for more than 50%of the construction costs.It needs to control the station cost from the design phase so as to control the cost of construction,to maximize the efficiency of the construction funds.However,engineering cost calculation has become a complicated step in design phase,and hasn’t done well in real-time calculation.Based on parametric modeling of BIM,it would use less time to achieve quantity statistics,then to figure out the engineering cost in time.So it has become a new method used in engineering cost calculation in overall design phase.Using BIM technology to design the overall scheme of excavation station based on the conventional excavation station combined cost calculation methods and BIM modeling technology,to realize the coordinated control between the design and calculation of the cost of the station and dynamic excavation station cost calculation,to improve the overall level and efficiency of station design scheme design stage the station to meet the construction scheme.The design requirements under the condition of cost are greatly reduced.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)It combined with the theory of cost,the overall scheme of the design phase of the urban rail transit of the project budget cost of the content,presented basis and preparation methods in this paper,and analyzed the advantage of the characteristics and application of BIM.And it came to the conclusion that BIM technology has broad application prospects in the engineering cost calculation field of the overall scheme of the design phase of urban rail transit.(2)The paper aimed at mined subway station,and confirmed the thought of the engineering cost calculation in two key design nodes,which represent the excavation of the station space and the layout in the station.The layout in the station was divided into three parts which contain passengers using space on the platform,passengers using space in the subway hall and rooms allot in subway station.Based on the basis of city rail traffic estimate "the project" Beijing city construction project quota valuation,valuation basis gave the design content.(3)The paper cleared the modeling process of subway station design implemented in Revit according to the mined station design "from the whole to the local,bottom-up"principle,and combining with the characteristics of BIM modeling software Revit.Moreover it pointed out and solved the technical difficulties of modeling in Revit such as special-shaped components,families of equipments and self-adaptive families.(4)It also proposed the implementation method of subway station construction cost calculation in Revit,and divided the excavation station cost into four parts involving pre excavation costs,fees,expenses,board wall and conventional component cost.As well as illustrated that it achieve principle of each part of engineering quantity statistics in Revit by the sheet-list function,and realize calculation of design cost via the edition of the sheet lists.Finally,the paper described how to realize the coordination and cooperation between the design change and the cost calculation in Revit.(5)To take a metro station as an example,model two schemes respectively in Revit,then receive lists about engineering quantities and cost comparison according to the method of Revit implementation cost calculation.It showed the feasibility and superiority of the station cost the calculation in Revit.
