Polyolefin are commonly used as insulation materials in electrical engineering.The breakdown behavior has always been the focus of the research in the field of insulation.However,because of the complexity of the molecular structure of the polyolefin itself,the breakdown process is extremely complex,the corresponding theory is also more diverse.Under the electric field,the luminescence is caused by the charge recombination,so it is an important method to study the trap and the space charge storage and transport.Therefore,it is of great significance for the study of the cause of breakdown breakdown and the breakdown mechanism of polymer to obtain the polymer breakdown luminescence spectrum.Based on the PI-MAX ICCD of Princeton company and the SP2300 type monochromator as main measuring instrument,combined with computer,power equipment,trigger circuit,protection circuit,electrode system and other equipment,build the experimental platform to measure the breakdown luminescence spectrum.The system tested the validity,and the trigger circuit of response speed,noise disturbance,spectral accuracy,direct imaging and other functions were also tested,the test results show that the system can realize the breakdown luminescence signal acquisition.The breakdown luminescence experiment was carried out by using the device.The low density polyethylene(LDPE)was used as the typical polyolefin material to observe and measure the luminescence phenomenon and time.The DC breakdown test of low density polyethylene(LDPE),SiO2/LDPE composites and polypropylene(PP)was carried out under the needle plate electrode,the breakdown luminescence spectra of several polyolefin materials were observed,it is found that the luminescence spectra of several polyolefin materials are mainly distributed in the range of 300nm-900 nm,the spectral characteristics ofthree kinds of materials are analyzed,the LDPE spectrum peak appeared in365 nm,425nm,500 nm,590nm,710 nm,the spectrum peak of SiO2/LDPE appeared in 370 nm,420nm,500 nm,605nm,700 nm,750nm,and PP peak in390 nm,460nm,535 nm,575nm,660 nm,785nm.By comparing the breakdown field strength and breakdown light intensity,the luminous intensity increases with the increase of the breakdown field strength,and briefly analyze the reasons.The peak position of luminescence spectra of three kinds of materials was analyzed by significance difference,and the spectral characteristics were analyzed. |
