In recent years,the superiority of underwater vehicle(AUV)in marine survey has attracted special attention of the world,and it is widely used in marine observation,underwater area search,ocean data collection and submarine pipeline tracking.However,a single AUV is limited to energy,control,sensing,etc.,which can only be used to perform some simple,local marine tasks,and is beyond for complex,large-scale ocean mission.Therefore,the cooperation of AUVs in formation can accomplish the task the a single one can't,which is namely the multi-AUVs in formation and has been be one of the hottest topic in AUV research,through mutual coordination between multiple AUVs.For a single AUV energy-saving optimization,domestic and foreign research scholars have carried out relevant research.While the multi-AUV fleet of energy-saving optimization is extremely rare.Hence this paper mainly studies AUV in the different formation to lower the energy consumption,and eventually achieve energy-saving effect.Firstly,parameterizing the Nystorm AUV model,automated modeling and automated meshing and the automatic simulation,which will reduces the optimization time,and making comparisons of two-dimensional model results and three-dimensional model results in CFD simulation and prove that the results are similar,while the two-dimensional save a lot of time in the calculation process.Secondly,by integrating the optimization platform with the automatic modeling and calculation in the optimization of AUV model Three different optimizatioin algorithms are applied to calculate,and the results are used to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the three optimization algorithms in the design of AUV.Finally,the research on multi-AUV formation voyage is carried out.By using different formation forms of AUV,the main formation forms are parallel formatioin,serial formation and "V" shape formation.Buliding the optimization platform to get the optimal AUV formation,which will reduce the energy consumption of AUVs in long distance navigation and improve the endurance.
