Mode Reserch On Roof Greening In City

In recent years, with a high-speed economic development in Xi’an, environmental issues are increasingly highlighting while the increasing level of urbanization and the earthshaking life changes that reducing green area, urban heat island effect, biological diversity loss, soil erosion, water pollution and an increase in haze days. Declining in environmental quality has been issued to us that the city would unable to find a healthy balance between economic development and environmental protection. Meanwhile, it is based on this condition that to put forward a green roof model for Xi’an development.The contradiction of build-up land and green land is a major factor of restricting the healthy development of city. Green roof is an effective landscaping form of easing the shortage of land resources, improving the urban ecological environment, expanding green space and promoting the healthy development of the city. Based on the relevant theory of green roof, this paper from the ecological status and environment characteristics of Xi’an building roofs, taking Lianhu District as the sample area, using ArcGIS as an auxiliary tool of interpreting Lianhu District remote sensing image, extracting the single building roof geometry and establishing the basic attribute database so as to have a comprehensive understanding of the building’s roof and proportion, and also putting forward the corresponding green roof model that depend on the characteristics of each type of roof. In order to prevent all rework that has been caused by roof leakage, innovative design was carried out about the lawn roof greening layer structure. Combination of key points about roof garden design and construction, a specific greening plan has been designed.Finally, The advice was proposed from legal, policy, recognition, technology by analyzing the existing problems in green roof in Lianhu district.
