Rural Seasonal Crops Landscape Planning In Wuling Mountainous Area

In recent years, urban development has become more and more rapid, and the economic level has been greatly improved. But the environment is getting worse. Naturally, the rural natural environment has been favored by citizens, and the importance of rural landscape has been noticed by the scholars.This paper take Xinke village, Huayuan County, Wuling mountainous area as the research object, with reference to the domestic and foreign scholars’research and theories in rural landscape, which combined with investigation and analysis of local seasonal crops landscape, influence factors and problems in Wuling mountainous area. After these works, we obtained the following results:(1) Through the investigation of Huayuan County, there are some problems we found about rural crops landscape, a) single crop varieties, few strong landscape value crops; b) extensive landscape pattern, lack of fine configuration and management; c) outdated landscape facilities, scarce leisure and entertainment design.(2) The crops which appropriate grow in Wuling mountainous area are divided into four categories:grain crops, economic crops, medicinal crops and horticultural crops. Then summarize the landscape seasons, landscape color, landscape characteristics and planting modern in this paper. It can provide a practical basis for the future of rural seasonal crops landscape planning.(3) According to the mechanism of crop rotation and different viewing seasons, the varieties of strong landscape crops can be planted every month, which provide the theoretical basis for the alternate planting of seasonal crops in the same plot. And according to the different space types such as point, line, surface to present yard, path, stream, field, slope, ladder, etc. The crops landscape forms are suitable for mountainous area.(4) Take xinke village in Wuling mountainous area as an example, making seasonal crops landscape planning for the village. Put forward the planning idea of "one belt, two slopes and three gardens". Using of different seasons of the crops to create a terrain rural four-season landscape.The ecological environment in Wuling mountainous area is quite special, and the economic condition is poor. So the crops landscape planning must first meet the basic needs of production. Take this as the premise, then to comprehensive considerate of the seasonal changes of the landscape pattern. Only the economic value, ecological value and landscape value integrate and develop together, it could form the sustainable development of the rural crop landscape.
