Centrifugal fan is the input of mechanical energy to increase the gas pressure and transport the gas device, the main problem of the fan in this paper is the specific environment of the fan equipment is more sensitive to weight, thus optimization of the fan frame is to reduce the weight to meet the needs of lightweight applications, but not to reduce the fan performance. According to the finite element method, the static analysis and vibration analysis of the finite element model of the original fan frame are carried out by using the ANSYS simulation software. The static and dynamic characteristics of the original fan frame are obtained as the optimized reference data. The vibration test results of the original fan are obtained, and the simulation results are compared with the test data. Then, the optimized prototype is made. The structural static and vibration analysis are carried out on the optimized working conditions of 90° and 180°, and the optimum design is evaluated. The simulation data are basically the same as the test results, which are smaller than the national standard, which meet the structural rigidity design requirements and meet the fan performance requirements.
