Application Of The Crop Plants In The Leisure Manor Landscape Design

With the rapid development of urban and environmental problems have become increasingly prominent, people lived in the hustle city life are increasingly eager to seek quiet and peace, the desire for pastoral life is increasing urgently. In recent years, urban development concept of "low-carbon city", "sponge City" and "eco-saving city" is promoted and the future direction of the city is close to "garden city." with simple planting technical requirements and rich pastoral taste characteristics, crops have economic, ecological and landscape benefits.Due to a unique landscape effect, crops become more and more popular. Some have regional characteristics of good local crops, ornamental characteristics excellent vegetables and other crops have been applied to plant landscape leisure manor.This paper describes the concepts of crops, classification and characteristics, combined with the theory of landscape ecology, agriculture aesthetics, science and other pastoral landscape, the researchers reviewed the situation at home and abroad and the crops leisure estate development landscape. Six representative leisure manors in Changsha have been investigated which are focused on crop species and specific forms of application, then summarizing problems about applications of crops leisure in landscape design :rough, inconsistent with the crop and the surrounding landscape;single crop varieties and model; crop landscape theme is not clear, the lack of local characteristics; emphasising on economic crops, ignoring ecological and landscape effects; the lack of abundant crops waterfront landscape and vertical greening application; lack of crop farming experience related activities. From the color, seasonal, space, diversity, and ecological characteristics of six points, essentials on crop landscape design have been summarized. Finally, as a practical case of Changsha JingRan Mountain landscape design, exploring the application of crop in leisure estate landscape design to further promote the use of crops in the future to provide references.
