Research On Engine Room Extended Alarm Unit With The Video Call Function

In recent years,with the continuous improvement of computer and intelligent technology and their increasing degree in the application of the shipbuilding industry,the automation level of ship’s systems is gradually being promoted.The ship extended alarm system is used for extending the related information of monitoring alarm system to staff accommodation and other locations,extended alarm system is the important part of the monitoring system,his performance directly determines the ship automatic and intelligent degree.Extended alarm system is the key technology to realize the UMS(unattended machinery space).When the engine space is running in the UMS mode,ship engineers can get the status of duty staff and the sound and light alarm information with the extended end of the system in the ship cabin.Video call is a kind of communication mode that makes it possible for the immersive communication between the people.In this paper,the local-area-network video communication module is integrated in the extended end of the alarm system.It will make a certain significance to improve the function and convenience of the ship automation equipment.The design of this paper comes from the VLCC engine room simulator project of the Marine Engineering Automation Laboratory,Dalian Maritime University.In the beginning,some background information,basic function and the domestic and foreign development status are given.After that,according to its specific function module and the reference to foreign leading products,a design scheme of extended alarm system with strong reliability is proposed.And the build of the alarm system is completed eventually.The emphasis of the paper is the design of the extended alarm system and the programming of the video call module in the local area network.The program framework uses the Microsoft WPF(Windows Presentation Foundation)desktop application framework to complete the Specific procedures for the interface and the background code.With the strength of its rich presentation capabilities,this page designs a conventional extended alarm system which is applicable to the ship engine simulator,then makes a function module to realize the video call in the local area network.The design of video call module has made a use of the OMCS multimedia video call framework in the.Net structure,and completes the design of the overall program by creating and integrating the key modules and interfaces of the program.After the completion of the program design and final debugging,this paper makes a summary and outlook of the system design and gives the future development direction of the program that can be improved in the future.
