Concrete Pipe In Highway Soft Foundation Treatment Applied Research

With the rapid development of Chinese national economy,the pace of construction growth of highways,railways,urban and rural roads and high-rises is unprecedented.The speed of motor vehicles and high-speed rails becomes faster and faster and buildings go higher and higher,thus resulting in a raised level of requirement for foundation deformation and sedimentation of New era architecture.Though foundation is not counted as a part of a building,it has a close connection with a building and plays a significant role in construction.It occupies a very important position in the building,the treatment of foundation problems properly or not,not only directly affect the cost of the building,but also directly affect the safety of people in the use of the process.It is related to the whole project plan,progress and the use of safety,and its importance has been increasingly recognized by the people.China features vast territory and complex geology.In the southern part of China,soft foundations,whose proper treatment shall have a direct impact on the quality of the project,has enjoyed their great popularity.In construction of high level roads,soft foundations are adopted in accordance with practice in order to raise the bearing capacity of soft clay composite foundations and shorten the construction period.Due to its advantages of lower sedimentation volume,good stability and short construction period,application concrete pipe piles is highly popularized in areas with tightened construction period and thinner soil layers difficult for soft foundation treatment.This paper means to illustrate,through the foundation treatment research of the highway section between Maan and Hekou,the deformation rules of pipe pile reinforced foundation and put forward the application scope of concrete pipe piles for the soft foundation treatment to secure the proper treatment and meet the requirement of bearing capacity of foundations.The research contents and results go as fellows:a.Illustrate national application of soft foundations within China and put forward the basic thoughts of this paper.b.Research the bearing capacity and deformation rules of concrete pipe pile reinforced foundations under the action of embankment of highways,the change of load sharing ratio of pipe pile reinforced foundations with geotextiles.c.Analyze the change of load sharing ratio of pile-soil under the action of embankment.And explore the design requirement and method of concrete pipe pile reinforced foundations under flexible base.d.Compare composite foundations of different piles in aspects of load sharing ratio of pile-soil and sedimentation volume and so on.
