Theory And Application Of Cfg Pile Composite Foundation Design

In all kinds of soft ground treatment methods, CFG pile composite foundation is a practical, economic, stable, wide adaptable and effective method in the treatment of large area soft foundation. It has broad application prospects dealing with soft soil in the highway construction.Firstly, the status of China's highway construction is summarized and its current problems have been pointed out in this article. A variety of soft ground treated methods were introduced. The current research statuses about composite foundation are expatiated. Based on those above, the history and research status of CFG pile composite foundation are been presented.Secondly, the reinforcement mechanism researches of rigid pile composite foundation are summarized and the reinforcement mechanisms of CFG pile composite foundation are analyzed. The failure models of CFG pile composite foundation are analyzed. Base on the research outputs of rigid pile composite foundation, two load transfer models are analyzed.Namely, the load transfer method based on the function of bilinear model and hyperbolic model are analyzed. The load transfer mechnanism of CFG pile composite foundation are analyzed. The calculation methods for the bearing capacity of single CFG pile and surrounding soil are summarized. The influence factors of pile-soil stress ratio are investigated. Baes on those above, the calculation model for bearing capacity and deformation of CFG pile composite foundation are investigated. According to the three dimentional FEM analysis with MSC.MARC software, the bearing characteristics and deformation mechanism of single CFG pile composite foudatiion are investigated. The stress transferring and changing and laws of pile and soil in CFG pile composite foundation when the embankment is constructed.Finally, based on the studies of some construction technologies for CFG pile composite foudaniton, the construction precautions and the standards and methods of quality test of CFG pile composite foundation are summerized. The reinforced effect of soft soil is tested in some actual project and engineering experience could be provided for relevant design and construction in some similar projects.
