With the development of projection technology,as a result of laser’s strong monochrome,good direction,high brightness and rich wavelength spectrum,the laser projection display technology can display a larger color gamut,a wider screen,more strong brightness,better color saturation and higher color resolution to become the mainstream of the new generation of projection display technology.However,the domestic digital projection equipment market is basically monopolized by foreign companies such as Barco,NEC,SONY and Christie Corps.National “863” project funded the establishment of “××× key technology research” special research projection to achieve the key technology of laser projection display of the autonomy of the breakthrough.The research of the thesis is carried out under this project.The research project design two sets of programs.The first set of programs designed to xenon lamp as the light source,DMD display chip for the display core of S2 K projector.The main contents of the program contained the optical structure of projectors and electronic control system.The second program designed to laser light source,LCo S display chip for the display core of 4K projectors.The main contents contained the optical structure with laser as light source and electronic control system.The design of optical mechanism focused on resolving the dissipation spot of laser light source and the local overheat.And the main electronic control system design included conversion between video signal and input signal for LCo S driver board,realization of display subsystem and achievement of power supply control,xenon lamp control functional modules and et.In this thesis,the main contents include research and design of main control system in two sets of projection scheme of projector.The second program launched with independent intellectual property rights of laser digital projectors to face the increasingly fierce market of laser digital projection equipment.Traditional projection display technology using non-laser light source gets display color gamut to 70% only of the standard NTSC color gamut.The laser projection display technology can reproduce visible 90% of human color while the standard NTSC color gamut only covers 38% of human visual color.Effect of projection display system with laser light source has been greatly improved.Laser projection display technology can truly restore the natural color,be more suitable for large screen and high brightness.Laser projection display technology has become a new generation of projection display technology mainstream.The first project provided accumulation of technology and design experience for laser projectors.In this thesis,we firstly got aiming at requirements of DLP projection display main control system.Secondly,we analyzed requirements and designed structure of main control system,built the functional framework of digital projectors,integrated various functional modules.Final test was done in machine to get data of projection effect.At the same time,a Retinex color correction algorithm of white-balance theory based on the specular reflection hypothesis was proposed.The algorithm was implemented on the main control board of the DMD digital master control system for testing the digital image processing function of main control board.
