Switched reluctance motor is a new type of motor which has great development potential after DC motor and AC motor,SRM has the advantages of simple structure,high efficiency characteristic.So SRD already applied in many fields,including electric vehicle drive system,household appliance system and so on.Due to the stator and rotor double salient structure and saturation nonlinearity of flux linkage,the switched reluctance motor torque ripple and noise is more serious,affecting the use of SRM in the field of electric vehicles.The direct torque control of switched reluctance motor for electric vehicles is studied,the mathematical model of 3 phase 6/4 pole switched reluctance motor and the basic theory of direct torque algorithm are analyzed.The zero torque output status is added to the torque regulator,and the direct torque algorithm is improved,so the switch table is optimized.Based on the Matlab/Simulink design platform,the direct torque algorithm and chopped current algorithm simulation model are designed,in SRM model and its load is consistent,comparing the simulation results of two kinds of control algorithm,it shows that the improved direct torque control algorithm is more accurate for the control of torque,and torque ripple is greatly reduced,improving the performance of switched reluctance motor.This paper designed the hardware of 200 W SRM experiment system basing on STM32,mainly completing the drive circuit,control circuit,position detection circuit and the current detection circuit design.Rational designing of the main program structure,direct torque algorithm program by querying of appropriate voltage vector to control the SRM is designed.The experiment of motor rotation and speed adjustment under the improved direct torque control of switched reluctance motor is realized,and the control signal waveform of driving circuit is observed by oscilloscope,which verifies the correctness and feasibility of the improved direct torque algorithm.
