A silo is a tubular structure used to st ore various bulk m aterials.Because of its small footprint,storage capaci ty,ease of use,etc.,so in the food,construction,coal,cement and other industries are wid ely used.In recent decades,with the development of economic construction,the number of domestic silos more and more.However,the domestic construction industry as a whole is still relatively backward relative to the electronics and m achinery industries.At present,China's traditional construction mode has a low production level.BIM techno logy has been developed rapidly in the construction industry,but the applicati on of BIM technology in industrial silo construction is very few.In this paper,a Bunker Group project is taken as an example.BIM4 D technology is applied to industrial silos.Firstly,the BIM model modeling rules for industrial silos are analyzed,and how to build the silo and the model of sliding-The project schedule for the construction of the project2013 for sliding mode construction has been worked out.Secondly,the initial construction sc heme was analyzed,and the construction simulation was carried out by using BIM4 D technology.The deficiency of the construction scheme was optim ized,and th e sliding m ode installation technology animation and the ste el structure hoisting animation were produced to show the advantage of BIM4 D technology.Finally,the layout of the site was optimized,and the layout of the construction facilities such as tower cranes,steel bar sheds and m aterial storehouses were optimized.The stacking of the sliding mold components during the construction process was specially optimized.The application of BIM technology in the construction of Chengliang storage project reduces the problems such as time delay,inefficiency and low quality caused by construction problem s,and provides re ference for the application of BIM technology in industrial silos.
