MQL(Minimum Quantity Lubrication)is also called near-dry cutting or semi-dry cutting which develops these years as environment frien dly machining technology. It achieves the lubrication and cooling of the assisted medium in traditional cutting through spraying a trace of tiny metal-surface-absorbing oil mist particles on the machining parts. Moreover its effect is much better than the t raditional, and it is environment friendly and excellent cutting supporting. It can be applied into solving some difficult problem s of cutting machining to reach particular effect.Oil hole processing needs with the author's joint venture factory engine crankshaft, explore the feasibility of the application of MQL in micro lubrication cutting path in the deep hole processing, to improve the quality and efficiency of the crankshaft oil hole processing purposes. Through the study on cutting, lubrication and cooling mechanism, matching processing parameters on the crankshaft oil hole, and test and optimization, finally realizes the application of MQL technology in the processing of micro lubrication oil hole of crankshaft machining.The main content of this paper:This paper introduces the processing technology of crankshaft oil hole at home and abroad, explains the origin and development of MQL micro lubrication processing technology, and defines the main research direction of the subject. From the theoretical analysis of the crankshaft oil hole machining process, cause cutting force mechanism and cutting process of metal deformation and cutting heat generated, the mechanism of chip formation and analysis, theimprovement direction of importance of lubrication cooling effect in deep hole processing and deep hole in crankshaft processing for cutting tool material and machining parameters matching adjustment; followed by analysis of the lubrication and cooling mechanism of MQL micro lubrication in machining process, and compared with the traditional cutting lubrication, MQL micro lubrication is more suitable for machining crankshaft oil hole machining, and pointed out the influence of trace lubrication effect is mainly affected by the composition of atomization effect and cutting oil.The analysis of each part of the function of the atomization system, according to the characteristics of drilling crankshaft oil hole, choose to build MQL trace oil mist lubrication system for the choice of cutting oil for MQL crankshaft oil hole machining; combined with the analysis of the principle of atomization atomization system produced, and points out the factors related index to evaluate the atomization effect and its effect through; analysis of crankshaft oil hole machining practice, design the oil hole machining process, and according to the existing processing conditions combined with the second chapter of the mechanism analysis, suitable process parameters, oil hole machining.The following conclusions are verified by experiments.Optimizing the atomization effect of MQL supply system can effectively inhibit the production of the chip in the process, but it is not the greater the cutting oil supply.The chip breaking effect can be optimized by improving the MQL cooling effect and increasing the feed rate of the tool.
