The Most Strict Water Resources Management Problems And Countermeasures In Tongling City

Water is essential to human beings and all living things. It is the most valuable natural resources and strategic resources for industrial and agricultural production, economic development and environmental improvement. Tong Ling city is adjacent to the Yangtze River, the amount of water resources is very abundant in transit. But in the development process, like many other cities and regions in China, especially in the rapid industrial development process of Tong Ling city, a series of water resources problems have emerged, such as water environmental governance lags behind industrial and mining and urban expansion, there has been a general uptrend in small rivers' pollution, water environment pressure is increasing day by day, etc. All these problems gradually become the bottleneck of economic and social development of Tong Ling city.Combined with theoretical research of water resources management, by using case analysis method to the water resources management model in Australia, the United States, Japan and other countries or domestic cities, including Bei Jing city, Shang Hai city, An Hui and other provinces and cities are discussed in this paper, summed up the advanced experiences of domestic and international water resources management. Finally in the current situation analysis of Tong Ling city's water resources, based on the implementation of the most strict water resources management practices, the achievements and existing problems, comprehensive proposed the further implementation of countermeasures and suggestions about the most strict water resources management.
