Abstract/Summary:
Hypersonic vehicles have been pursued by the militarily significant countries because of its high speed, long range and good break-defense capability. In this thesis, the Altimeter antenna and GPS antenna about the hypersonic vehicles are investigated in detail as two important examples. Based on the characteristic of hypersonic vehicles and thermal protection materials, the specific installation method and the distribution schemes of the two antennas are put forward. Then, the influences of temperature and plasma sheath on the radiation characteristics of the antennas are analyzed in details. It will be of great value for future researches on the design of hypersonic vehicles.Firstly, the effect on transmission efficiency result from dielectric constant and loss tangent of thermal insulation material for hypersonic vehicle are analyzed by electromagnetic field theory. It shows that the thermal protective materials have superior transparent performance with low dielectric constant and low loss tangent.Secondly, according to the special requirements of the antenna installation about hypersonic vehicle, the key factors influencing the antenna radiation performance are simulated, such as the metal fixing support, radome and so on. And then, the distribution schemes about altimeter antenna and GPS antenna on the X-37 B aerospace vehicle are given, the specific method for improving the isolation are proposed after analyzing the isolation of the altimeter antenna with the same frequency. Meanwhile, the isolation between the altimeter antenna and the GPS antenna are discussed in different frequency.Lastly, the effects on radiation characteristics of the antenna above X-51 A hypersonic vehicle are analyzed when the temperature gradient and the plasma sheath which have different thickness, electron density, collision frequency on aircraft surface change.In this thesis, the methods of installation and distribution about antenna are put forward for the hypersonic vehicles, and then the influence of radiation characteristics of the antenna with the dynamic parameters are discussed when hypersonic vehicles have a high speed, The ideas of installation and distribution about antenna for hypersonic vehicles are stated systematically in this thesis. It will benefit to the following researches on the installation and distribution about antennas with different band for hypersonic vehicles.
