Electricity supply plays an important role in daily life and economic development, and it is obviously penetrated into almost all aspects of the social operation. Transmission line is the key part of the complex transmission network transporting the electric energy from the power station to user. However, there are many potential problems for the safety of the transmission line in the complex natural environment, especially in the adverse weather conditions, the transmission line very prone to accidents like tower collapsed and line fracture. The angle of the transmission line is an important indicator characterizing the motion of the transmission line, and the changes of line motion will cause changes in angle of transmission line. Therefore, the effective monitoring method for angle of transmission line can provide the first-hand information of scene for transmission line management.On the basis of the online monitoring of transmission line, different current methods of monitoring for transmission line are analyzed and the advantages and disadvantages of these methods are summarized in this paper, and then proposed a distributed angle sensor monitoring scheme under the arc length constraint based on wireless sensor network technology. Different from the conventional method, in this scheme, the angle information is instead of the spatial position, which is measured by online sensors and the curve-distance between two points is known, the function between the arc-length and the angles is reconstructed by the measured information, and then the curve function is obtained under the angle and arc- length constraint by integrating.Next, an online monitoring system based on this scheme is designed in this paper, and the hardware and software production work of this system is completed. This system insists of the data acquisition node, the receiving node and the data processing center. The data acquisition node is distributed on transmission line for real-time collecting the line angles; the receiving node implements wireless communication with the data acquisition nodes and interaction with the data processing center, ensure all the data acquisition node in stable operation and transport the data package to the data processing center; the data is received, processed and the curve galloping curve is reconstructed in the data processing center.Lastly, according to the actual environment, a transmission line simulation experiment platform is setted up in this paper. Theoretical correctness and feasibility of the scheme of curve reconstruction of transmission line theory under the arc length constraint is demonstrated by actual test. The experimental results show that the online monitoring system can real-time monitor the status of conductor with high measurement accuracy when each module of this system is operating normally. This system designed in this paper can meet the monitoring requirements.
