Wind generator tower is a free-standing variable diameter top structure,which height to width is larger,Under the action of static wind loading, wind generator tower is proning to lateral bending.Under the dynamic wind loading,Wind generator tower is easy to generate wind-induced vibration,For the frustum type of wind generator tower, excessive lateral bending and wind-induced vibration is the main factor leads to damage the wind generator tower, And wind generator tower's material utilization rate is low, Tower structure will have a big deformation under wind loading,If we only increase the structure stiffness and strength to reduce deformation of the tower or wind-induced vibration,practice shows that for this kind of situation,this method is neither economic nor practical, This topic proposed a passive tuned mass damper(i.e. TMD control device) to decrease wind generator tower's vibrating under the dynamic wind,Ultimately achieve the goal of wind generator tower 's reducing vibration.In this topic,a 2MW wind generator tower had been taken as a research subject in a coastal area.there are main research contents include the following three points,1.Through analyzing and comparing wind generator tower theory calculated value and finite element analysis results, verify the correctness of the finite element model of wind generator tower,then calculate the tower stiffness,strength under calm wind loading,wind generator tower's stress and displacement values under three kinds of working conditions of the wind.As a result, wind generator tower reach the maximum displacement under the 25m/s wind speed,which had exceed allowable of deflection value;2.Using three fluctuating wind speed spectrum curve simulation generated by the matlab software into wind generator tower finite element analysis,then analysis the wind generator tower's dynamic response(stress, displacement,velocity and acceleration),As a result,wind generator tower reach maximum displacement response values exceed allowable deflection, wind generator towerneed to wind-induced vibration reduction;3.After modal analyze the wind generator tower with TMD system, then analyze different damping ratio of three different operating conditions on the dynamic response of a wind generator tower, compare the variance of TMD whether there had vibration effect and TMD optimum parameters were determined,After comparative analysis found that the TMD for wind generator tower has a good damping effect, the best quality than 0.02, the optimum frequency ratio is 1 and the optimal damping ratio of 0.0857.
