With the rapid development of world economy, Metal wastes such as end-of-life vehicles and waste electrical appliances are emerging. Scrap metal crushing production line is the most advanced method for scrap metal recycling.,scarp metal shredder is the critical equipment in the scrap metal recycling process. It's crushing performance and fatigue life determines the Productivity and reliability.In this paper, the PSX-2250 type scrap crusher of high power is taken as example, using the Finite Element Method to analysis the crushing process, obtain the influence law crushing parameters over crushing effects and make a prediction about key parts of the scrap metal crusher.The main content of this paper is as follows:(1)The model of impact crushing was established.Finishing the simulation and analysis of crushing process by using ANSYS/LS-DYNA,obtaining the distribution of dangerous position and stress conditions of hammer and fragmentating area during the crushing process. Also,parameters such as thickness of waste metal, speed of spindle was researched about their influence over the crushing performance. Meanwhile,estimating the theoretical maximum production and analysising the power dissipation in terms of energy.(2)Modal analysis and modal test are carried out with finite element software ANSYS and LMS modal analyzer, and modal parameters such as natural frequency and mode shape are obtained. The similarities and differences as well as the reasons are discussed by comparing the results of experimental and simulation modal analysis, and the validity of finite element model is verified.(3)The simulation and analys of crushing process has been done based on the complete scrap metal crusher. The load time course of dangerous position was obtained.Finished the load spectrum by using the Rain-flow Counting Method.Make a calculation of fatigue life of hammer and hammer shaft based on Corten-Dolan principles.Also The results was verified with the actual part's lifespan. |
