Facing the tendency that flights are gradually increasing, airport operation simulation tools are used to provide airports management with the best design solution in the operation efficiency when most domestic airports intend to reconstruct.And Simmod, as an excellent foreign software in the airport simulation, can't correspond with requirements of actual operation because of different design standards and management rules. To solve this issue, this paper starts from runway configuration, and based on multi-agent distributed simulation system is established,which is used to be studied both in theory analysis and simulation. The main work of the paper is as follows:Firstly, the main factors of runway operation are analyzed. For simulating accurately and comprehensively, runway configuration parameters, aircraft take-off and landing performance parameters and control parameters are extracted. Secondly,by using AUML(Agent Uniform Modeling Language)method, the framework of runway operation system is proposed. With the difference in behavior, runway agent,aircraft agent, controller agent and management agent are defined. Simultaneously,the static characteristic of each agent and the dynamic interaction behavior between Agents are designed. Thirdly, on the AnyLogic simulation platform, the runway operation system is realized by carrying out overall design, development and test,while demonstrating its motion characteristics. At the same time, according to constraint-based geometric reasoning algorithm and runway configuration parameters,the simulation system can generate variable runway graphics with the different inputs.By this way, it improves the applicability of system. Finally, by analyzing the data outputs, the paper gives the results that how main parameters affect runway efficiency on quantitative analysis.The simulation system not only can analyze how runway configuration influence the opration efficiency, but alse accord with the controller's experience and habits.Analyzing the outputs of examples and compared to Simmod, it can confirm the rationality and reliability of the system. The paper carries out a very significativeattempt for studying runway operation efficiency.
