With the development of computer application technology, the application of 3D simulation environment has penetrated into multiple technical fields. How to achieve better heterogeneous scene control is still a research hotspot, especially for virtual maintenance control in heterogeneous scene in civil aviation. Such research at home is blank.This paper research 3D simulation environment maintenance, and research on the method of heterogeneous scene control. In the civil aviation aircraft maintenance 3D simulation, according to the different needs multiple scene data is needed, which results in the decrease of efficiency of simulation system. An efficient scene control method reduce computer cost and control methods should conform to reality, so as to train the maintenance personnel efficiently, Therefore research work is of value and significance.This paper is based on the need of huge maintenance scenario model number, complex scenes, and real-time interactive requirements. Scene tree is applied to manage numerous scenes. Then open source graphics software OpenScene Graph is chosen as the underlying rendering engine, combined with paging scheduling technology and multithreading rendering strategies, which load each scene partial data into memory and real-time unloading. Then in order to make 3D simulation environment closer to the real working environment, extensible markup language XML is used as a data transfer format, and disassembling control can realize manual dismantling and automatic disassembly, and scene roaming is realized in heterogeneous response mechanism.Finally, the heterogeneous scene control method was applied to aircraft maintenance simulation environment, and the test of simulation and performance analysis show that control method is of good applicability.
