The airport runway friction coefficient measure vehicle is special vehicle equipment which is used to measure the friction coefficient on the surface of the airport runway. The friction coefficient of the airport runway is one of the important parameters of the airport runway quality, it has directly affection on the plane and the airport.The development status, work principle, composition of the measurement system and measurement process of the airport runway friction coefficient measure vehicle have been analyzed and discussed in the paper. Several methods to evaluate airport runway pavement roughness have been discussed. The input excitation from the roughness of the runway surface by using of power spectral density and the discrete Fourier inverse transformation was built. The characteristics of tire-road contacting friction coefficient test vehicle have been analyzed and discussed and the model of testing system and vehicle have been built and analyzed. AMESim software has been used to build the simulation model and the simulation results verify the impact of the external vibration to the testing vehicle.
