Energy consumption is increasing, but the total exploitation is reducing. Meanwhile, environmental problems generated by fossil energy have become prominent. So promoting energy-saving emission reduction and developing new energy to substitute for fossil energy is major initiatives to promote the sustainable development of our country. Photovoltaic power generation technology is currently a hot topic in the field of new energy sources, of which the distributed generation system integration technology is received more attention.This paper uses the 0.98 MW distributed grid photovoltaic project of a sewage plant as the main carrier to carry out the design and research of distributed grid connected photovoltaic power generation system. Major work has been done as follows:Analyzing the climatic characteristics of the location of the project, the distribution of solar energy resources, calculating the average amount of local radiation each month and analyzing the optimal obliquity, the distance of fixed matrix between the east-west and the north-south direction.Designing the DC power distribution system combined with the engineering characteristics, making comparison and choice of the inverter technology's economical application, computing the number of series circuits ? parallel circuits and DC cable parameters. Then choosing the design of junction box, DC power distribution unit.Making comparative analysis on the AC grid access combined with engineering scale, site environment. Ignoring the contribution made by the power grid caused by inverter short-circuit and then making an analysis and calculation on short-circuit current, on the basis of which crucial equipment's parameter such as low voltage switch cabinet, transformer, high voltage switch cabinet can be compared and chosen.According to relevant laws, rules and regulations, putting forward the general plan of fire control and carrying out the projects' fire design.Calculating the generating capacity of each month for the first year after the project going into production, each year's generating capacity within the period of use and the energy saving and emission reduction effectiveness and its social benefits.
