Traditional well type gas carburizing furnace equipment technology is relatively backward, my company 280 camshaft belongs to deep carburizing, carburizing heat up to 40 hours, through artificial kerosene are harder to control carbon potential,carbon potential fluctuation is bigger, the establishment of the atmosphere, the adjustment of the carbon potential, the depth of carburizing layer control deviation,are prone to cause carburizing to guarantee the quality of the camshaft cementing quality is not stable, power consumption, high cost, low production efficiency. But my company four traditional well type carburizing furnace, holds a large proportion in the heat treatment equipment company, the future will also use for a long time, so make sure well type carburizing furnace feasible carburizing process parameters is important. Through process test best carburizing heat treatment process parameters for:carburizing heat insulation temperature 930 ?, carbon potential value is 1.25%, heat preservation time about 35 hours, at the same time, determines the subsequent quenching tempering at low temperature and the stress process of heat treatment process parameters.High power locomotive diesel engine 20 cr material 280 camshaft in pit type furnace carburizing, drip type using kerosene- methanol atmosphere for optimum carburizing heat treatment process parameters for study: carburizing heat preservation temperature 930 ?, carbon potential value of 1.25%, about 35 hours, time of heat preservation and the subsequent quenching tempering heat treatment process parameters is determined.Traditional well type carburizing furnace carburizing fade-in problem that USES the new equipment love association Lin sealing box multi-purpose furnace for 280 camshaft carburizing instead of pit type furnace carburizing to become a better way,improve the quality of the carburizing heat treatment of 280 diesel engine camshaft.To avoid 280 camshaft quenching crack, good rich meal instead of water quenching oil cooling process for quenching become the quality of research study in the future. Difficult control problems for camshaft carburizing process at the same time, in order to authors efficiency, improve surface of camshaft carbide morphology and increase the camshaft surface heat treatment quality and comprehensive mechanical properties, conditioning and instead of carburizing and quenching technology for induction hardening has become a new research ideas and methods.
