In today's society, energy shortage and environmental pollution problems are becoming more and more obvious. The development and research of electric vehicles are the most important in the world. Electricity is replaced by oil in electric vehicles,which achieving the goal of emissions and zero noise, it is an important mean to solve the environmental problems and energy issues,and favorable for the sustainable development of the automotive industry. Therefore, electric vehicle has gradually become an inevitable trend in the development of automobile technology.The body is an important part of the electric car, and it will suffer various loads from the road,besides, many important parts of electric vehicles are installed by taking car body as the carrier. Therefore, to ensure the electric vehicle's assembly and requirements of usage as well as fatigue life, the electric car body's structure must have the quality of sufficient strength and rigidity. When we design the body structure.Firstly, we use the Creo2.0 software to establish the three-dimensional solid model of the electric vehicle,and import the finite element model of the electric vehicle in Workbench, and analyze the results of the electric vehicle in full load, emergency braking, turning and other conditions. Secondly, on this basis, it also carries on the restraint modal analysis to the electric vehicle body, and extracts the ten order vibration mode and natural frequency of the vehicle body, and analyzes the frequency range of the electric car easy to occur.Finally, at the request of the electric vehicle body's strength and stiffness are met, we can make the electric car in the ANSYS to conduct the topology optimization, and ultimately get the most reasonable distribution of the body material, achieving the purpose of lightweight body by replacing the material or removing excess parts.Topology optimizated of the car body structure, it can not only meet the requirements of the electric vehicle's performance, but also reduce the quality of the electric vehicle effectively, To some extent, it reduces the energy consumption and waste discharge. It plays an important role in promoting the electric vehicle industry technology upgrade and full demonstration of the application of the technology.
