Applying Sponge Urban Design Concept Into Resisdential Planning

In recent years, extreme weather caused by climate change and the dual pressures of rapid urbanization, the contradiction between China's urban development and water ecological environment increasingly prominent. In strengthening the background of ecological civilization construction under water, China has proposed a new concept of urban design sponge. Sponges city, is a new generation of urban stormwater management concept, refers to the city with good "flexibility" in adapting to environmental changes and respond to natural disasters bring rain and so on. November 2014, Department of Housing and the introduction of "sponge City Construction Technology Guide" that refers to the sponge cities should follow the "infiltration, stagnation, storage net, use, discharge," the sixth principle, that is, when rain water, water, water seepage, clean water, the water reservoir when required "release" and utilized.Under different background, changing urban development principal contradiction, settlement planning theory also will evolve. At the same time, as an important part of urban settlements, the construction of ecological civilization settlements water ecological construction of urban water is of great significance. Today, traditional settlements exist in the context of planning the construction of ecological civilization of water resource value and ecological benefits of rainwater lack of knowledge, support for the fragmentation of rainwater resource management space, the lack of a comprehensive design program for rainwater resources management problem.In this thesis, settlement planning problems in combining the core meaning sponge urban stormwater management design successful experience and advanced countries are from the target settlement planning, settlement planning settlement planning program design and space design strategy three aspects of optimization proposal. And through the sponge urban design concept of Wuhan Hanyang South Lake Prince Edward Community Design as an example to verify the application of the weight.In summary, the present paper is to investigate the introduction of sponge urban design concept, put forward the goal of improving settlement planning advice, the existing framework for the detailed planning of residential areas to optimize the results sponge urban design concept under the guidance of spatial settlement planning design strategy, there is sponge help improve urban planning and design method of site level, site-level supplementary sponge urban planning and river basin planning and urban macro-level relations, deepen sponge urban research system.
