Research On Humanization Design Of Pocket Parks In Modern City

By historical and parallel comparative methods,a comparative research on humanized design is carried out,and it includes two aspects of the comparison as following.One is between Chinese classical small gardens with public nature and contemporary pocket parks;the other is between China and west pocket parks.Then combined with current cognition and demand to pocket parks in current cities,it draws the strategy and design method of humanized design about pocket parks in modern Chinese city at the macroscopic level and the intermediate level,its result is following:1.There are some same points between Chinese classical small gardens with public nature and contemporary pocket parks.Its construction of the "public" concept was originally introduced from the west and both are small gardens with public space.The differences between two kinds of parks are that the former went beyond the situation of initial imitation. It not only created a unique nature style of Chinese landscape garden,but it focus more on the construction of life and artistic conception.As the contrast,contemporary pocket parks are stay in the imitation stage at present and lack of ownership and pleasant space with respect to contemporary living culture,which is one of issues to be concerned about mostly.2.There are some same points between China and west pocket parks.The construction of urban pocket parks in China was originally introduced from the West.Its stage and the present situation of the design are still in the form of transplantation and imitation.it has been built in the shadow of the western pocket park to different extents in a lot of projects and it tends to rational in general.On the the other hand,its difference is reflected in some points.It takes emphasis on three-dimensional space and pleasant effects in western country.In contract,Chinese pocket park construction not only needs to effect to improve and develop design levels in three-dimensional space and pleasing pleasant effects,and also needs more attention on four-dimensional space and design effects which are touching heart,eventually making the local pocket park humanized design improved effectively,which is based on the full excavation, inheritance and development of Chinese ancient public gardens.3.In the two kinds of comparative analysis above, it summarized and drew some more scientific research methods and design principles.And then put forward some corresponding humanized design methods with a practical case for effective verification.Humanized design strategy includes four different levels planning strategy,implementation strategy,design strategy and management strategy.Humanized design method includes three aspects:space contrast construction,space penetration and level construction and landscape path construction.Besides,in the course of the researchwith historical and parallel comparative methods,no matter it is the natural style or rule-based style in the research on humanized design of pocket parks, the effective psychological satisfaction from the local cultural identity attribution plays a very critical role in humanization design which really creates a kind of “home garden”,which is worth emphasizing.
