Research Of Geo-fracture Museum Design, Enshi, Hubei

The project is a geo-fracture museum design located in the north of YunLong Geo-fracture, Enshi, Hubei. The project is dedicated in promoting popular science about geological knowledge related to YunLong geo-fracture. Considering the unique geographic location and the complex terrain, the first above all is studying the cognition of site. The study is divided into four parts: the natur al geographical environment, the circulation around the site, the influence of key factors, and the reflection of planning layout. Through the study of site, the location and orientation of the museum was settled. To organize pattern and scale of interior space of the museum, then we carry out a study to the display and display spaces of geo-fracture museum. The study is divided into six parts: the concept and functions of display, the definition and classification of display space, the analysis of home and abroad outstanding cases, the formation of YunLong Geo-fracture, the arrangement of display of geo-fracture museum, and the display space of geo-fracture museum.
