Rail vehicle is a major transport equipment for railway construction, track construction, equipment repair, rescue and inspection work. With the leaping development of Railway, efficient and safe control of the rail vehicle has become one of the issues to be solved in the field of railway production. Intelligent restructuring and remote control technology of the rail vehicle control system can greatly improve the safety, reliability, productivity, and reduce the labor intensity of the operator.In this paper, based on analyzing the limited intelligence and control capabilities issues of the existing rail vehicle control system, we propose a specific rail vehicle remote control restructuring scheme for the Harbin Railway Bureau Industry General Corp internal Combustion Engine Machinery Factory TGQ5 model rail vehicle control system restructuring issues. We design a vehicle controller module and a remote control module based on the STM32 ARM. Among them, the vehicle controller module realize the collection and display of the vehicles operating information, the reception of the remote control commands, the transmission of the vehicles operating control signal, and it is responsible for the operation of various types of information collected for processing and the alarm information to the operator in time. The remote control module can realize the communicating with the vehicle control module, and energy detection by typing the control commands. Through these two modules, we can achieve the remote control of the rail vehicle to start, run, changes in speed and breaking.The experiments and the results show that the rail vehicle remote control scheme we proposed in this paper complies with the relevant standards, and it can achieve the desired functionality.
