In recent years, virtual reality technology has been widely used in ship research, ship driving simulator is a typical example using virtual reality technology to ship research. Ships driving simulator is a kind of device that assist operator training assessment,which creates a three-dimensional virtual environment seamanship steering using VR technology. Trainee manipulate the physical hardware simulator systems interacting with a virtual three-dimensional environment, which enable the operation of the ship’s virtual driving experience and play the purpose of accumulating ship driving experience. Port workboat as a ship in the port of narrow waterways job put forward more stringent requirements for manipulate driving of ship crew. Therefore, the development of a full rotation harbor workboats(hereinafter: Port workboat) driving simulator for training the driver’s driving ability, to ensure that such vessels in the narrow channel of towing safety of the ship is necessary. At the same time, it is necessary for non-marine majors to acknowledge such a simulator for understand the operation of the ship, the composition of seamanship automation equipment and systems using such simulator which can make non-marine majors in the design of the ship automation system better understand the norms and conventions requirements.In this paper, Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2000, Labview, Matlab / Simulink,MapX software platform integrated development by OpenScene Graph(OSG) more software platform software, completed the work boat harbor motion control equation modeling and ocean scene of virtual modeling, which achieved information exchange among many software platform. Using LabVIEW SQL Toolkit for data communication and OPC technology to achieve communication between software and hardware and establish a instructor station system based on SQL Server’s; Using MMG(Ship Maneuvering Mathematical Model Group) separate modeling ideas to establish port workboat "four freedom" hydrodynamic hull, propeller power, wind power and flow interference mathematical simulation model and to get physical operational data through the establishment of port work boats operated semi-physical simulation platform; Using MATLAB / Simulink and the motion of the harbor workboat fourth-order Runge-Kutta method for simulation solved to obtain its trajectory and heading, and objectively displayport work boats movement characteristics in the scene on the build virtual ocean scene;Realized the construction of harbor work boats driving simulator basic platform. The platform has ocean scene simulation, climate modeling and viewpoint follows function,which meet entering and leaving port maneuvering of port workboats. Through the MFC and MapX mixed programming development of the navigation radar simulation platform,making the port work ship driving simulation system developed more realistic, perfect; In this system, through virtual reality technology and bounding box collision detection method,realized the port ship driving simulator in the narrow channel, port and the towing ship, port terminals of collision detection so as to achieve judgment for ability of operator. |
